Acting Resumes List
Acting Resumes Tips
A Professional Acting Resume being submitted for consideration for any acting role must clearly present your acting ability. This is done by focusing on that single aspect of your life in your resume. Other factors of your life, in your resume, will divert the reader’s attention from the core issue of your acting ability.
Your Acting Resume however, need not list everything about your acting career. It needs to simply high light the most important roles that you have performed in detail. This can be followed by a list of other less important roles that you have performed.
This Acting Resume should ideally be of about a page in length, listing your Theatrical, Film, Commercials and Television roles. A good way of presenting it will be to subdivide the Acting Resume into categories to illustrate the versatility of your experience.
All awards and Honors won are critical and should be listed in detail.
Your Professional Qualifications and other Formal and Informal Training received, must then be listed.
You can conclude by listing your memberships and affiliations to Professional Bodies.
Your Acting Resume must,
- Be factual and not exaggerated
- Emphasize your Education and Training
- Be of a font size that can make reading easy
- Show your Head Shot clearly and as it would appear in your career
- Contain an up to date contact address and a valid email address
- Be of one page in length, say 8 ½ X 11.
