Objective:
To take the theoretical knowledge gained through University education and practical experience gained through Agricultural Extension work done as part of the University outreach program to the Private sector in the area of Marketing of Agricultural inputs for the Farming communities of the United States of America. In the process, to build a satisfying career while doing something that brings out the passion in this candidate from a farming family.
Work Experience:
2006 to Present: Agricultural Extension Worker, College of Agriculture, Holbert University, Kansas. After graduation continued to work in the university’s outreach program with the intention of continuing academic pursuits to get a Doctorate in Agriculture.
Qualification:
M A Agricultural Economics. College of Agriculture, Holbert University, Kansas. Expect to get PhD in Agricultural Economics shortly.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Active member of the Peace Corps and have worked in South Asian countries in Agricultural extension work.
Spent one year in India on a student exchange program and studied Indian agricultural practices in one of their states, through a student extension program from an Agricultural University there.
