An agriculturalist from a farming background, as well as considerable international experience in Agriculture Extension Work on behalf of Agricultural Universities and Research Institutions in the USA and in some Developing Countries, offers his services to an organization that can exploit his experience, knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills, in the areas of Agriculture Inputs Marketing, Field Extension work and Liaison with Developmental Agencies. Has extensive network of contacts in the area of Agricultural Aid, Agricultural Education etc on a global scale. Significant achievement has been the successful developmental work done in Africa, particularly in Malawi.
Work Experience:
2005 to 2008: Senior Consultant to the Malawian Government in their Agriculture Reform Department. Complete responsibility for overseeing implementation of strategies drawn up in collaboration with Clement School of Agriculture and Environment, a UN funded Voluntary Agency working in the extension of Agriculture technology in Africa. Responsibilities included liaison with UN departments and officials.
2000 to 2005: Manager Marketing, Nobel Agro Industries, Leicester, UK. A global leader, in the Manufacture and Marketing of Pesticides.
1995 to 2000: Asst Manager Marketing, Patrick Murray Engineers, Manchester, UK. Leading Manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery for small farms, such as mini tractors, mechanized ploughs etc.
1990 to 1995: Field Officer, in charge of Extension Work for Manfield Agro Chemicals, Sydney, Australia with special emphasis on multi cropping in south Asian Countries, as part of an initiative set up by the United Nations, Australian Government and the Private Sector Industry of Australia.
