Experience:
January 2000 to Present: Senior Archivist, The Detroit Archives of the American Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Detroit, MI. In this position, was responsible for the complete reorganization of the Museum and Archives of the Association into one single location from many sources. The Museum/Archive today is considered to be a role model for many Automobile related museums and archives throughout the world. Was awarded the Archivist of the Year award by the American Association of Archivists for the year 2008.
January 1996 to December 1999: Archivist, Pennsylvania Dairy Industry’s Library and Museum, Grove City, PA. The position was created by the Pennsylvania Dairy Manufacturers’ Association in collaboration with the National Agricultural Library to organize the Association’s collection of various items pertaining to the industry going back to mid 18th Century. Completed the task of organizing the entire library and museum within the contracted period and enabled a team of archivists to maintain and expand the facility before moving on to corporate archiving.
January 1994 to December 1995: Assistant Archivist, University of Pennsylvania Franklin Library, Philadelphia PA. Joining as Trainee Archivist after graduation was made Assistant Archivist in just a year.
