Billing clerks, as the name suggests were originally responsible for preparing bills for all goods and services supplied to customers and clients. With increased automation in the form of computers, this function increasingly is being taken over by Accountants and Book Keepers, but in some industries, it is still very much in vogue, notably in the Health Care Industry.
