Objective:
To capitalize on the theoretical and practical knowledge of biotechnology to bring about improved productivity in Farm Operations through extension work.
Work Experience:
2004 to 2008 Field Sales Supervisor / Sales Representative - Modified Seeds for Cotton. With Mitchell Agro Industries, Houston Texas. Responsible for the sales of modified seeds for cotton in all the States growing cotton in the USA. Since the seeds are genetically modified, there has been resistance to them and my job is to assuage the users about the beneficial aspects of the seeds, train Sales Representatives to do the same and to establish distribution channels for the product.
2000 to 2004 Senior Laboratory Supervisor. Same organization as above. Joining them straight from college as Laboratory Assistant, grew into the position of Supervisor and seeing my managerial and communication skills was transferred to the Marketing department in 2004.
Internships during college education – With three reputed Laboratories in Houston, Texas.
