Having acquired over ten years of experience as a Broadcast Technician in various situations from a small FM radio station to a serious News Channel, looking to move into a Supervisory position to exploit the vast knowledge and experience gained in both audio and video equipment installation, maintenance and usage. This should hopefully enable the applicant to gain managerial experience and further a career growth into Broadcast Production.
Experience:
2007 to Present: Broadcast Technician, ZYX Cable Communications. Claremont, NH. Keen to move on to a regular broadcaster rather than stay at a position where receiving and transmitting other broadcasters’ programmes has run its course of excitement.
2005 and 2006: Broadcast Technician, Zimbo News Channel, Nashua, NH. Originally joining them as sound technician, moved onto video production and broadcast technician and eventually, as Technician in over all charge of all Broadcast Equipment for the studio.
2001 to 2004: Studio Technician, Channel 567, 24 hours News and Popular Music FM Radio, Laconia, NH.
1999 and 2000: Apprentice Technician, with the above FM Radio channel.
Qualification:
Associate Degree in Radio/Video Production and Broadcasting, Hesser College, Concord, NH.
Certification:
Current Certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers of the USA.
