A Cardiologist is a medical professional who has acquired formal education through a basic under graduate degree, a formal degree in medicine and post graduate qualification in the specialized field of cardiology. Cardiology is the branch of medicine that specializes in disorders of the heart, blood vessels and related problems. Problems connected with cardiology are congenital heart problems, disease of the coronary arteries, failure of the heart, other heart diseases, preventive medicine related to the heart etc.
