A Senior Chemical Engineer Manager, seeks opportunity in a research oriented Chemical Engineering company, where his ideas for new product development can be developed and commercially exploited. 2005 to Present: Process Manager, ABC Chemicals, Cincinnati OH, A US$ 300 Million manufacturer of Thermoplastic Resins, appointed and responsible for bringing about manufacturing improvements in the production processes. Achieved savings of US$20 million in the last two years, by utilizing the same machinery, men and equipment but with improved process management and better information systems. Led and managed a team of six Chemical Engineers, to achieve the same and demonstrated excellent leadership skills.
2002 to 2004: Process Engineer, XYZ Industries, Cincinnati OH, A US$ 50 Million manufacturer of Basic Chemicals for the Cosmetic Industry. Joining the company as Engineer, was promoted to present position on demonstrated skills in improving processes that resulted in improved productivity and considerable savings to the tune of US$ 500,000 per annum.
2000 and 2001: Shift Engineer, Cincinnati Chemicals and Resins, A US$ 30 Million manufacturer of resins for use in the specialty paint and defense industries. Joining as Trainee Engineer, was made independent Shift In Charge after six months of on the job training. Left to seek more challenges in a larger organization.
