Work Experience:
2005 to Present: Senior Scientist, (Chemistry), The Philadelphia Chemical Laboratories, Philadelphia PA. This Federally funded Laboratory is into highly confidential and classified research work for the Federal Government. Responsibility is to lead a team of Chemists in a highly challenging environment into staying focused on the task at hand and to deliver results. The Scientists are highly qualified senior persons who need to be handled with extreme care and they expect their leader to be on par with them intellectually and in terms of knowledge and understanding of the subject. Has been successful in maintaining the morale here, for the past four years without any problems.
2000 to 2005: Scientist, in the same establishment as above. Hands on research work as part of a team that was to deliver an important discovery to the Federal Government within a specified time table. Was able to do so and seeing high communication and leadership skills, was elevated to Senior Scientist, with formal responsibility to lead a team of scientists.
1995 to 2000: Professor, Advanced Chemistry, School of Chemical Engineering, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. A teaching assignment, during which mentored scores of students into their doctoral qualifications, besides teaching graduate and undergraduate students.
1990 to 1995: Asst. Professor, Chemistry, Same school as above. Teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
