2001 and 2002: General Manager, Marketing, the same employer as above. Joining at a time when the company was beginning to face a buyer’s market from a seller’s, was able to face increasing competition by aggressive marketing techniques and promotional methods. The company was not only able to adapt to the changing conditions, it was able to become the dominant player in the niche market. Promoted to Vice President to oversee further consolidation and expansion.

1999 and 2000: Marketing Consultant, XYZ Components, Detroit MI. A US$10 million automobile components and spare parts manufacturer with a global supply network. On contract assignment, primarily to reorganize the Marketing arm to focus on direct selling operations rather than the existing marketing mix. Successfully did so, and moved on.

Mid 1994 to 1998: National Sales Manager, National Hand Tools Inc. Chicago, IL, a US$ 5 million hand tools manurfacturing company with a national sales network of distributors and retailers. Joining as Management Trainee, moved to Branch, Regional and finally into National Sales Management.
