A 40 year old Civil Engineer, with excellent academic qualifications and considerable experience in Residential Building projects, seeks change to face new challenges in Industrial Construction. Can bring significant design and on site supervision expertise gathered over ten years of experience in Housing Developments.

Career History.

2004 to Present: Project Manager, Springfields Developers and Builders, Springfilelds, Florida. A company, created specially to develop and hand over a residential project consisting of 75 single units and four apartment blocks of twenty apartments each. The project involved creating a complete township including a number of swimming pools, drainage stystem, plumbing, water supply pipe lines, over head storage tanks, fire prevention measures and security systems. Was completely in charge of site management and lived on site. The project is almost complete and the company is in the process of liquidating itself. Hence the need for new employment.

1997 to 2004: Civil Engineer, Mega City Projects, Construction Division, New Haven, Florida. A residential project of 16 apartment blocks each with fifty apartments. Was responsible for all Civil Engineering, for the entire project. The President of the company left them to start a one off project and I left with him to benefit from a profit sharing opportunity in a new project.

1994 to 1997: Trainee Engineer, Mega City Projects. Joined them straight from college and grew into the position of Civil Engineer in three years.

Education:

Master’s Degree in Science (M.S) – Civil Engineering, Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida.

Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.S) – Civil Engineering, Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida.

Other Information:

General. Building and Residence, Licences from The Construction Industry Licensing Board, Tallahassee, Florida.

Completely familiar with and proficient in the use of Computer Aided Design, and other Computer Applications as required for the building industry.

Fluent in spoken Spanish.

Prepared to relocate to anywhere in the USA and live on site for big construction projects.
