In most states of the USA, cosmetologists need to procure a Government Licence to practise as a cosmotologist and this usually follows procuring a certificate from a recognized institute after a training program usually lasting about nine months.
Individual cosmetologists tend to develop loyal clientele who would prefer to be attended to by only their favorite cosmetologist and such clients are usually generouos in the gratuity paid to individuals. Apart from the skill involved in this process, excellent interpersonal and communication skills will ensure that such loyal following is built up. If you have such skills, that must be highlighted in your resume as it will give an indication that your loyal clients will likely follow you to your new position as well.
