2006 to 2009: Trainer- Customer Service, Minnesota Power Supply Company, Saint Paul, MN
As part of a major Human Resources Intervention project, poor customer service was identified as an area of focus. Conducted a survey of 500 households to appraise the level of customer satisfaction, identified areas in need of training for field employees like linesmen and back office employees. Was made responsible, for drawing up the content and scope of the program which is now in the process of implementation. Expected to organize training programs by bringing in external faculty and providing the necessary infra structure to make the process a success.
2000 to 2006: Logistics Manager, Minnesota Automobile Spare Parts Distributors, Saint Paul, MN.
With over thirty sources and 150 customers, MASPD desperately required organizing themselves with proper systems and procedures to stramline their operations and improving on their customer service, due to increasingly shrill complaints from customers on poor quality.
Joining them as Management Trainee, Logistics, grew to the position of Logistics Manager, and successfully implemented a vastly improved ERP system that resulted in better customer service and reduced complaints.
In the process, got deeply involved in Human Resources Management, particularly in the Training of employees and handled that responsibility as well.
