Dental Resumes Tips
The Dental employment scene is very exciting with openings available at multiple locations and in private clinics, hospitals and in the armed forces.
Two very popular positions are for Dental Hygienist and Dental Laboratory Technician. Another career as a Dental Assistant has been dealt with separately.
A Dental Hygienist needs to be qualified with a degree from Dental Hygiene School, and needs a State License to practice. Since this is of vital importance at the time of seeking employment, that you have this qualification and license needs to be highlighted. The prospective employer proceeds to read your Dental Hygiene Resume further, only afterwards to take in your experience, whether you would like to work full or part time, the timings that would appeal to you etc.
A Dental Laboratory Technician needs to have a high school diploma or its equivalent plus a certificate of having undergone formal training from the Commission on Dental Accreditation, or an apprenticeship that can last up to five years. Prospective employers look for this qualification and so, it needs to be highlighted at the beginning before any other information is provided regarding experience etc.
