1998 to 2000: Asst. Employee Relations Manager, Auburn Smeters, Auburn, Maine. A Smelting company with 200 employees. Joined as Management Trainee after having successfully carried out duties during internship while still in college. Grew to Management responsibility within two years.

Significant Achievements:

Considerable improvement to the canteen facilities at Auburn Smelters, resulted in solving a long standing grouse of unionized workers. Was solely responsible for creating a new system of providing canteen services.

Supervisor, worker relations was in need of quick improvement for which assignment was employed by Marylou Textiles. Through effective interventions in the form of on and off site training programs, monitoring and effective performance appraisal system was able to resolve all issues within one year of joining them.

Through some tough negotiations, was able to implement improved discipline and attendance in one unit of the Tristan group. This achievement was significant, in that other repeated interventions in the past had not given sustained improvement.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Human Resources, Bates College, Lewiston, Maine. Graduated at the top of the class with a Gold Medal and a Citation for excellence.

Pursuing Masters in Human Resources Mangement through distance learning and expect to complete by mid 2010.
