Having determined that the hotel business is where the future lies, this applicant has spent time and effort equipping himself with the world’s best qualification and also acquired formal all round training from ground up which enables him to offer his services to a Hotel of repute which can utilize his skills and in return offer a career path with possibility of board level appointments.
Has considerable experience in all facets of operations, right up to Management of finances and personnel having rotated in all functional aspects of Hotel Management.
Has experience of setting up a holiday resort from drawing up a business plan to inviting the first guest personally. The hotel is a success story till today. Having set it up and made it capable of running itself, needs fresh challenges in General Management and looks forward to that in an International chain.

Work Experience:
2006 to Present: Independent Consultant. On being entrusted with the responsibility of setting up a holiday resort for a venture capitalist, drew up an appropriate business plan, saw to the entire process of getting the premises built to specification, obtaining permits, licenses etc, recruiting staff, training them, arranging for sales and promotion of the resort and finally going into business as a standalone and successful resort with year round average occupancy in the region of 70%. Currently in the process of handing over general management to a Professional General Manager.
2000 to 2006: President, Albuquerque Hotel, Albuquerque, NM. A stand alone Family owned hotel, with 80 employees and 75 rooms, Joining them as Foods and Beverages Manager, quickly moved into General Management and eventually to President. Left them to move on to bigger challenges.
1995 tp 2000: Foods and Beverages Manager, Albuquerque Inn of the Marriott Chain. Joining the Marriott group of Hotels as a Management Trainee after graduation, got trained and held responsible positions in all facets of Hotel Management, before deciding to move to a standalone hotel to gain better experience in a short time.

Bachelor of Arts (BA), Economics, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.
Other Information:
Fluent in spoken Spanish and French and extremely effective in interpersonal relationships using these two languages and English.
