Objective: To move from Departmental Management to General Hotel Management by exploiting the experience gained in the Hospitality Industry over the past fifteen years. To achieve this goal has been pursuing Hospitality Management qualification by distance learning on a part time basis and expects to get qualified in 2010.
Experience:
2006 to Present: Catering Manager, Marianne Hotel, Des Moines NM. As part of non site catering business, in charge of all catering operations to three off site locations on contract with the hotel.
2003 to 2006: Manager, Foods and Beverages, Juniper Hotel and Resort, Des Moines, NM. Complete responsibility for all Foods and Beverages, sourcing, and catering to the hotel.
2000 to 2003: Assistant Manager, Banquets, Milestone Hotels, Farmington, NM. The second most important department for the hotel, the Banqueting Department due to the number of conferences and conventions held in the hotel, was responsible for all operations on a shift basis.
1996 to 2000: Assistant Manager, Guest Relations, Edgewood Inns, Edgewood, NM. Joining as Management Trainee after graduation, moved up the ladder to the position of Assistant Manager.
