Manager positions are available for all kinds of responsibilities. From small departments to large organizations with many employees using vast resources, all need to be managed and various levels of Managers are needed.
You need first to identify the kind of position and organization in which you would like to work and structure your Manager Resume towards achieving that goal.
Some Managers are expected to manage people, some material, some systems and some other kinds of responsibilities. You must therefore first decide what will make you happy and analyze whether you have the traits that the particular position and organization will expect from you. For instance, for a position as a Manager of people, you would be expected to be strong in leadership qualities, communication strengths etc. If you are strong in these areas rather than say systems, it is logical that you will be more successful in the former than the latter and your Manager Resume should reflect such strengths.
Normally a degree in Management is expected for Manger’s positions and so, your academic qualifications, your achievements in research and internship must receive adequate importance in the presentation of details about you.
