A graduate from the University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and earning a Master of Quality Management degree from the same university’s Institute of Technology, entered the Private sector in Quality Management and presently in Strategic Management of Quality Manufacturing . Experience:
2004 to present: General Manager, Quality Management, National Machine Tools, Orlando FL. A US$2.5 Billion Precision Tools Manufacturer with four overseas plants in the Republic of China, (Taiwan), Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and two joint ventures in France and India. In the position, responsible to ensure that common quality standards and productivity norms are maintained and improved on. Responsible for identifying training and development needs of employees in all locations to achieve this end.
1996 to2000: Quality Assurance Manager for the same company as above, responsible for all Manufacturing activities within the USA. With three plants this meant a great deal of coordination and control to ensure common quality standards and productivity norms.
1992 to 1996: Chief Engineer, ABC Components Inc, Orlando FL, A US$ 25 Million manufacturer of Precision Engineered Micro Components. In charge of all Manufacturing and Quality Management of the Plant employing 20 Engineers and 200 employees.
1989 to 1992: Engineer/Engineer Trainee, the same company as above.
